Job summary

RMCI, a Nox Group company, seeks a Project Engineer to support data center and mission-critical construction projects nationwide. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and Field Engineers, manage procurement, costs, RFIs, submittals, and reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering and 2+ years of field experience; extensive experience may substitute. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 2+ years field experience.
• Extensive related construction experience may substitute for formal education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent to support project success and safety culture.
• Mentor and develop Field Engineers.
• Champion cost management, forecasting and change orders.
• Lead procurement of materials and equipment including submittals and RFIs.
• Support overall project schedule development and forecasting.
• Assist PM with owner, contractor and supplier commercial matters and pricing changes.
• Maintain current project documents (drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs).
• Support permit applications and renewals as required.
• Participate in daily and weekly project meetings and reporting.
