Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Project Assistant – Data Centers to coordinate internal information and project work across network engineers and data center technicians. You will develop detailed plans, track milestones, manage assets, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

This on-site role near Portsmouth, OH offers a base pay of $70,000 to $115,000. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of coordination experience in data centers or large networks are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and 2–5 years of coordination experience in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience in data centers or large-scale networks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple cross-functional projects across networks and data centers.
• Coordinate initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
• Track milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.
• Maintain asset and material management across data centers and warehouses.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and risk analysis.
• Define project scope with stakeholders and drive change management.
• Provide regular status updates using KPIs and metrics.
• Support internal process improvements and risk mitigation.
