Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler for data center projects in Chester, Virginia.

The role leads scheduling efforts, develops detailed project schedules, and coordinates with the project team and trade partners to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include analyzing project information, monitoring design deliverables, procurement and construction schedules, and providing regular status updates and forecast reports.

Qualifications

• 3 years' electrical (industrial or commercial) construction scheduling and project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Ability to produce detailed schedules with resource and cost loading.
• Thorough knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scheduling Lead on electrical data center projects, performing scheduling and reporting.
• Analyze project information and prepare documents for planning and scheduling.
• Develop detailed schedules with the project team and trade partners.
• Input, analyze, and monitor design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Oversee all project scheduling activities and provide status updates, forecasts, and reports.
• Review schedule updates and changes and produce impact reports showing financial impact and delays.
• Work on the project site and interact with Project Team and Design Team.
