Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Project Scheduler for data center projects in Chester, Virginia.

The candidate will lead scheduling efforts, develop detailed project schedules, and coordinate with design teams, trade partners, and project staff to ensure on-time delivery and accurate reporting. The role requires electrical scheduling experience, proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of electrical (industrial or commercial) scheduling and project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Project and P6.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Ability to produce detailed schedules with resource and cost loading.
• Thorough knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical Field experience not required but preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Works as the Scheduling Lead on electrical data center projects performing scheduling and reporting.
• Analyzes project information and preparation of documents to ensure efficient planning and scheduling of projects.
• Develops detailed schedules with the project team and trade partners.
• Responsible for input, analysis, and monitoring of design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Oversight of all project scheduling activities and provision of required status updates, forecasts, and reports as necessary.
• Reviews and evaluates schedule updates and changes and produces impact reports.
• Performs work on the Project Site and interacts with Project Team and Design Team.
