Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks a Power Systems Project Manager, Data Center Focus, to own planning, execution, and delivery for data center and mission-critical power projects across multiple U.S. locations (Boston, Syracuse, Arlington, Chicago, Houston) in a hybrid environment.

You will lead scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate with engineers, and guide clients through interconnection and pre-investment work while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/power engineering.
• 7+ years in power systems or electrical infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with data center or large-load engagements preferred.
• Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage clients.

Responsibilities

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center power engagements.
• Serve as the primary client contact for developers, investors, and government entities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across design, generation, and interconnection.
• Manage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration.
• Support feasibility studies and pre-investment planning for data centers.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations.
• Ensure QA/QC and standards compliance throughout execution.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and junior staff.
• Coordinate with Interconnection and Substation teams for deliverables.
