Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, owning end-to-end product design and development of electrical power distribution equipment such as Low Voltage Switchgear and Power Distribution Cabinets.

You will work hands-on with the team on detailed engineering to develop next generation designs and bring these concepts through testing and into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years developing electrical and mechanical products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Make high-judgment trade-offs between priorities and essential features.
• Drive strategic direction for the team's technical roadmap.
• Build and lead an engineering team with clear growth plans and leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks and unblock teams to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with partner teams to implement processes regionally and globally.
• Provide clear technical strategy across organizational levels.
