Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join the ICTBG team. You will develop and support advanced power infrastructure solutions for hyperscale and COLO data center customers across the United States.

The role requires deep expertise in power electronics, data center infrastructure, and customer-facing technical engagement, working with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Design teams to drive continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of power electronics experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of data center power infrastructure and critical power systems.
• Experience supporting or designing UPS, STS, PDU, and RPP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale data center operators.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support for Delta data center power products.
• Support customer operational issues across hyperscale and COLO environments.
• Travel to customer sites domestically to support deployment and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Design teams.
• Assist in product development and optimization of Delta ICTBG product portfolio (UPS, STS, PDU, RPP).
• Develop and maintain technical troubleshooting documentation and SOPs.
