Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support Caterpillar electric power solutions, reporting to the General Manager of Packaging.

You will manage complex, multi-stage projects for data centers and mission-critical infrastructure, coordinating with Sales, vendors, and engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, scheduling, procurement, and documentation, with a comprehensive benefits package and a base salary range of $75,000–$100,000

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in power generation, electrical infrastructure, or related industries.
• Experience managing complex, multi-phase projects with equipment like generator sets, switchgear, controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers from quote acceptance to project closeout.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and customer communications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and sales to reflect pricing and lead times in proposals.
• Generate purchase orders and coordinate procurement for equipment and components.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure on-time delivery.
