Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for the Power Systems division in Bartonville, IL. You will lead complex projects from quote through delivery, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to ensure on-time, on-budget execution for mission-critical data center applications.

Responsibilities include managing vendor-purchased items, developing BOMs, and maintaining schedules. A Bachelor's in a technical field is preferred; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in power generation or mission critical industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and Electrical Safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from quote acceptance through project completion.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and customer communications.
• Manage customer expectations and communicate schedule updates, risks, changes, and delivery commitments.
• Review RFQs, specifications, and drawings to develop complete quotations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to reflect pricing and lead times accurately.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and track milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and identify process improvements.
