Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers. This role requires presence at our Elk Grove, IL Data Center five days a week with 7/24 shift coverage.

You will rack, label, cable, and configure infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware/software, and maintain DCIM data. You will collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and support teams to ensure timely deployment and smooth handoffs across data centers, applying best practices

Qualifications

• Experience supporting data centers and critical infrastructure systems.
• Familiar with power distribution, environmental monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of DCIM software, cable management, and structured cabling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new server, storage and network infrastructure is properly racked, labeled, cabled, and configured.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in GPU and Networking systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for deployment of systems.
• Manage a parts depot inventory and track equipment through the deployment process.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve incidents and share solutions.
• Work with RMA team to return faulty parts and order replacements.
• Follow installation standards for placement, labeling, and cabling to drive consistency.
