CoreSite offers a SkillBridge Data Center Operations Technician Internship designed to train active-duty transitioning personnel in data center operations, electrical and mechanical systems, and telecommunications infrastructure. The role focuses on day-to-day facilities operations, safety, and regulatory compliance within CoreSite's data centers in Chicago.

Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to CMMS, BMS/PLC controls, and tower infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must be an active-duty US Military personnel transitioning out of the military.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain data center facilities systems.
• Complete work orders and service tickets.
• Coordinate power installations and upgrades.
• Perform preventive maintenance and asset inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.
