Job summary

Google is seeking an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware and server software, including networks, routers and switches. You will lead small project teams on installations and develop contingency plans, with hands-on rack movements as part of a dynamic infrastructure environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, shift work, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting OS, server hardware, or networking protocols.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Completion of Google IT Support Professional Certificate is a plus.
• Experience working in data centers or network operation centers.
