Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our front‑line teams in Dublin, OH. You will operate and maintain critical mechanical and electrical equipment in the data center, support engineers, and drive safety and reliability around 24/7 operations.

This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with 12‑hour rotating shifts and potential on‑call duties in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical data center facilities experience (1+ years).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform limited maintenance tasks including filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements.
• Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
