Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to perform hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation in a 24/7 data center environment.

You will work 12-hour rotating shifts, support operations, supervise contractors, and respond to emergencies while maintaining safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 39 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical data center equipment.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, electrical, and safety systems.
• Supervise contractors and coordinate with on-call teams.
• Respond to off-hour emergency calls per on-call rotation.
• Document activities and create work orders.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Walk job sites on uneven terrain and work at heights.
