Job summary

Futura is seeking a Technical Writer in the United States to create and maintain operational procedures for hyperscale AI data centers. This critical role involves authoring SOPs, MOPs, and other documents to govern site operations, and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing within relevant industrial fields. Familiarity with data center infrastructure and safety regulations is essential. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years technical writing in relevant industrial environments.
• Fluent reading P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
• Working command of procedure-writing frameworks.
• Safety literacy in OSHA PSM and NFPA LOTO.
• Data center infrastructure knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain the full suite of procedures.
• Document change and as-builts after modifications.
• Embed with engineering and ops teams for document creation.
• Build supporting visuals in documentation tools.
• Own document lifecycle end-to-end in the DMS.
