Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Assistant Manager in Muskogee, OK to oversee daily operations of a high-performance infrastructure environment.

You will supervise staff, ensure uptime, and enforce procedures while coordinating with IT, engineering, and research teams on compute-intensive workloads. The role requires a strong background in data center operations, networking, electrical and mechanical systems, plus solid communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• At least 4 years of data center experience.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong understanding of network, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; familiarity with web-based programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of blockchain and network equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Data Center Manager with deployments, decommissions, operations, and training of new employees.
• Oversee warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory management, and quality control.
• Manage asset lifecycle from arrival to RMA retirement.
• Record received inventory and deployment deliveries.
• Plan deployments of client-hosted assets including capacity, power, cooling, and network readiness.
• Support labor management for site standups, moves, or decommissions.
• Help define performance metrics and ensure staff training.
