Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Site Services Manager for Data Center Operations to lead a team of data center technicians and ensure service uptime. You will collaborate with planning, facilities, and engineering to support capacity and reliability.

This role requires managing IT cabinet builds, space and power usage, and cross-functional partnerships to deliver best-in-class service and maintain uptime of critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or leading employees and/or a contingent workforce in a data center or equivalent environment.
• Experience working in an IT environment in areas of installation, delivery, or operations management.
• Experience working with servers, storage hardware, or network hardware

Responsibilities

• Partner with planning teams on installation forecasts and IT cabinet builds.
• Manage and report on space and power consumption.
• Interact directly with the local Data Center Facility Manager to ensure environment uptime.
• Work cross-functionally with internal business groups to provide best-in-class service, and partner with internal support groups such as the Operations Center and Engineering teams on process improvements and monitoring and issue resolution.
• Keep Apple's services online while continuing to install capacity.
• Provide reporting on key performance indicators, define team goals for efficiency, manage assets, and lead a team of data center technicians.
