Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Oracle, seeks an experienced Data Center Operations Lead to own one or more data centers, monitor performance, and drive significant improvements across power, cooling, and security. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage incidents and escalations, and support expansion projects from onsite and remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Independently responsible for at least one Data Center, overseeing operations.
• Leads performance trend analyses related to capacity, temperature, availability, cleanliness, and other metrics.
• Proactively monitors facility health (power, cooling, security) and implements major enhancements.
• Partners across functions and regions to improve processes and lead major improvement projects.
• Leads on-the-ground resources to resolve incidents and communicates execution clearly.
• Oversees escalation handling for complex technical issues and provides support.
• Triages and escalates issues, and applies automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools.
• Documents issues, processes, and solutions for the knowledge base and conducts RCA post-incidents.
• Leads new region builds and expansions, coordinating with project teams and site engineers.
• Oversees installations, repairs, inventory, logistics, and components upgrades.
• Directs rack deployments and network infrastructure upgrades, ensuring proactive maintenance.
