Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Leader to independently manage one or more data centers, monitor performance, and lead improvement initiatives. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, driving automation, and overseeing expansions and maintenance to ensure stable, efficient facility operations.

The position emphasizes incident resolution, process optimization, and collaboration across regions to optimize data center performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and optimizing data center facilities.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics across capacity, temperature, and availability.
• Proven incident resolution and escalation skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or process-improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Site Portfolio Management: Independently responsible for at least one data center.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Lead trend analyses for capacity, temperature, availability and cleanliness; propose improvements.
• Issue Management and Automation: Direct on-site resources to resolve incidents and implement automation to mitigate problems.
• Data Center Expansion Support: Lead expansion projects, liaise with project teams and engineering.
• Installation and Maintenance: Oversee installations, repairs, inventory, and logistics; guide upgrades.
• Planning & Execution: Manage moderately complex tasks across multiple projects with clear timelines.
• Collaboration & Partnership: Align with stakeholders to meet shared objectives and ensure inclusive perspectives.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address moderately complex issues with data-driven approaches.
• Continuous Learning: Seek ongoing training and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements; measure impact.
• Performance and Development: Contribute to talent development through interviews and assessments.
