Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Oracle, seeks an experienced Data Center Technician to lead hardware and network operations across sites. You will manage complex change activities, drive standardization, and act as the top escalation point for incidents while coordinating with engineering and security teams.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and site rules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center hardware support and break/fix activities.
• Ability to lead complex change activities and site augmentations.
• Proven track record of incident escalation, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Collaboration with engineering, capacity, networking, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees lifecycle management for servers and components with minimal workload impact.
• Leads planning and governance for large-scale network builds and migrations.
• Owns escalation queue, performs trend analysis, and documents resolutions.
• Governs SOPs/MOPs adherence and site security/compliance documentation.
• Drives post-incident reviews and implements long-term improvements.
• Mentors technicians and guides staffing for on-call and peak events.
