Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and associated infrastructure.

Qualifications

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance experience.
1+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA.
Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Support change management with technical writing.
Coordinate on-site with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors per practices and local laws.
Adapt to shifts up to 12 hours and possible on-call rotations.
