Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Operating Engineer to support data center operations at one or more sites. The role focuses on mission critical infrastructure including generators, UPS, HVAC, and BMS/CMMS systems.

The candidate should have expertise in electrical or mechanical work and be capable in the other area to maintain high availability. Responsibilities include SOP and incident management, procedure updates, and 24x7 operations support to meet client SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in mission critical facilities or equivalent.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with cross-discipline competence.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency principles.
• Familiarity with UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire/life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand site MEP systems and illustrate site one-lines accurately.
• Maintain SOPs, SOOs, EOPs, and change management workflows.
• Create/edit/resolve incident reports and CMMS work orders.
• Support 24x7 data center operations to achieve uptime and SLA targets.
• Contribute to change management, MOPs, and incident reporting.
