Job summary

Lambda is seeking a Data Center Technician to support infrastructure deployment in its Plano, Texas data center. You will rack and configure servers, troubleshoot hardware and software, and document topology using DCIM software.

The role requires travel to bring up new data center locations and close collaboration with supply chain. The position emphasizes attention to detail, instruction-following, and a hands-on approach to large-scale data center environments in a fast-growing AI cloud

Qualifications

• Familiar with critical infrastructure systems in data centers.
• Detail oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.
• Willing to travel for bringing up new data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable and configure new server, storage and network hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on advanced systems.
• Document data center layout and topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for deployment plans.
• Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through stages.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve infrastructure tickets.
• Coordinate RMA process for faulty parts and replacements.
• Follow installation standards for labeling and cabling across data centers.
