Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Chantilly, VA is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to support the scale and reliability of our global data center networks. You will work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and help drive automation and network deployment across facilities.

Responsibilities include ticket-driven work, capacity management, hardware installation and troubleshooting, and partnering with internal customers and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
