Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Virginia, Chantilly, is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support the growth of our global infrastructure. You will manage tickets, coordinate with stakeholders, and help scale data center networks through hands-on hardware deployment and troubleshooting.

The role requires 2+ years of networking and hardware experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and travel as needed within and outside the regional area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
