Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5+ years designing data center connectivity, or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience with multimode fiber, single-mode fiber, copper, and low-voltage systems.
• Experience designing ultra-high fiber count (UHFC) plants.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, future-proof data center connectivity for large-scale networks.
• Procure fiber, copper, and connectivity materials for new builds and refreshes.
• Provide project management and construction oversight for data center projects.
• Plan network upgrades and overhauls in live data centers.
• Develop procedures for connectivity deployments in live environments.
• Audit installations and coordinate with vendors for turnover.
• Create as-built documentation for data center connectivity.
• Coordinate circuit releases across regions with data center providers.
• Collaborate with capacity planning and engineering teams on cluster design.
• Apply building codes and industry standards to connectivity design.
