Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Engineer, Data Centers to design scalable data center connectivity for high-speed networks and oversee large cable plants across regions. You will collaborate with capacity planning, network engineering, and construction teams to deliver reliable infrastructure.

Applicants should have a STEM degree with 5+ years in data center connectivity, experience with UHFC fiber, and proficiency in Python/SQL for monitoring and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years designing data center connectivity.
• Experience with multimode/ single-mode fiber and low-voltage systems.
• Experience designing UHFC fiber plants and data center interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data center connectivity for networks beyond 800G.
• Procure fiber, copper, and connectivity materials for builds.
• Provide project management and SOP/MOPs for deployments.
• Audit installations and ensure turnover readiness with vendors.
• Develop as-builts and document connectivity across regions.
