Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• 2+ years supporting data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of spine-leaf architecture.
• Experience with virtualization networking - VMware.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible is a plus.
• Experience with network monitoring and packet analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise data center networking infrastructure
• Configure and support core routing and switching platforms
• Administer spine-leaf and traditional three-tier network architectures
• Implement high-availability technologies including MLAG/VPC, Port Channels/LACP, and dynamic routing protocols like BGP
• Support data center virtualization platforms including VMware
• Implement security controls including ACLs, segmentation and firewall integration
• Maintain redundant network paths and disaster recovery connectivity between primary and secondary data centers
• Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring platforms
• Perform firmware upgrades and maintenance while minimizing production impact
• Troubleshoot complex network outages affecting servers, storage, virtualization hosts, and enterprise applications
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation
• Provide Tier III escalation support for critical infrastructure incidents
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned
