Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Data Center Operations Specialist to manage and support extensive data center infrastructure. The role includes server mounting, rack labeling, hardware troubleshooting, and close collaboration with network, VM, storage, and Unix teams to ensure continuous data center availability.

Responsibilities cover equipment installation, UPS and PDUs, vendor coordination, and maintaining logs while supporting remote teams in MDF/IDF environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, storage, and network components.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Network, VM, Storage, Backup & Unix).
• Support and maintain VMware environments and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Share logs with vendor for hardware issues.
• Handle parts receipt and return processes.
• Mount and move servers, rack management, and labeling.
