Job summary

RYZ Labs in the United States is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate high-availability data center networks. The role emphasizes spine-leaf fabrics, BGP/EVPN/VXLAN, and on-call rotation.

You will deploy and maintain networks, monitor performance, troubleshoot, automate provisioning with Python and Ansible, and work with Cisco/Arista/Juniper gear while ensuring uptime and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, IT or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in data center networking.
• Strong routing and switching skills: BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, ECMP, IPv4/IPv6, QoS.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper; experience with ACI or EVPN fabrics; load balancers or firewalls a plus.
• Proficient with monitoring and NetOps tools (NetBox, SolarWinds, sFlow/SNMP, Grafana).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible) and version control (Git).
• Certifications a plus: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, Arista ACE.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain data center networks and interconnects.
• Monitor network performance and capacity; optimize to meet uptime and latency targets.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and packet loss; perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Implement network security and segmentation (ACLs, firewalls, microsegmentation).
• Automate provisioning and configuration (Ansible/Python); maintain documentation.
• Plan and execute changes, upgrades, and lifecycle management with minimal downtime.
