Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a seasoned network professional in Washington, DC to plan, deploy, and maintain complex network systems. You will monitor data center performance, ensure security, and respond to incidents while documenting procedures and collaborating across teams.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5–10 years in network administration are preferred, with CCNP/Network+ certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• CCNP and/or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in network administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, test, and deploy network systems.
• Ensure data center infrastructure operates at optimal performance.
• Monitor health, stability, and security of data center environments.
• Respond promptly to system alerts and incidents and resolve them.
• Perform routine maintenance: patching, firmware upgrades, backups.
• Collaborate with infra teams to minimize disruption during maintenance.
• Document incident lifecycles and escalate as needed.
• Develop and manage network design patterns and roadmaps.
