Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support AWS infrastructure operations in the Manassas area. The role focuses on scaling data center networks, capacity management, and working with internal customers and vendors to drive project execution under Network Leadership.

You will engage in hands-on network deployment, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multiple teams to refine operational procedures and meet high standards for safety and security.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
