Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Non-Destructive Testing Engineer to join our Operations Services team focused on maintaining critical data center equipment. You will design, implement and test NDT methods across power, mechanical, plumbing and building automation systems, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure uptime.

The role emphasizes autonomy, precise documentation, and collaboration with engineers, project managers and leadership to improve reliability and safety

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, or 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot data center critical systems.
• Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site.
• Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols.
• Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.
• Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide support for planned and unplanned outages.
• Provide cross-functional support for services teams.
