Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for an upcoming data center project near Alexandria, LA. You will manage on-site construction activities, lead the field team, and coordinate with the owner and design team to ensure schedule, safety, and quality goals are met.

Responsibilities include developing site safety plans, tracking budgets and production units, and guiding subcontractors to meet deadlines while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Or a high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities and supervise field operations.
• Manage safety programs and enforce incident-and-injury-free culture.
• Coordinate with owner, design team, and trade contractors to maintain schedule and quality.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost codes, and budgets.
• Review plans for constructability; support pre-construction planning and pricing estimates.
• Direct inspections with authorities and ensure documentation readiness.
• Create site-specific safety plans and monitor compliance; lead toolbox talks.
• Build positive relationships with owner and design team; manage subcontractor relationships.
