Job summary

FCL Builders in Columbus, OH seeks an MEP Superintendent to lead field execution on mission-critical data center projects, coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of project supervision in industrial or large-scale commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and quality control.
• Deep understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, CRAHs, BMS), and commissioning processes.
• Experience with daily reporting, field coordination, and issue resolution on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations and coordinate MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, and building automation).
• Track progress, document costs, and support forecasting and cost control.
• Lead daily/weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Identify issues or delays and recommend mitigations.
• Conduct field inspections to verify installation accuracy and design compliance.
• Maintain daily logs, as-built docs, and RFIs.
• Plan and manage MEP schedules, commissioning, sequencing, and BIM-based installation.
