Job summary

Yates Construction seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee data center projects from preconstruction through closeout in the Southeast U.S. You will manage all field MEP activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment with milestones.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design, estimating, and trade partners, leading daily field walks, validating installations with BIM/VDC teams, and delivering complete documentation, turnover packages, and training materials for

Qualifications

7+ years of field MEP management on large-scale commercial projects, including at least 3 years on mission-critical or data center projects.
Experience managing full lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
Familiarity with Southeast U.S. markets, labor forces, and local codes.
OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Design teams to review MEP design documents for constructability and value engineering.
Direct and coordinate all on-site MEP activities, ensuring alignment with milestones and budget.
Lead daily field walks and coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.
Oversee MEP system start-up, testing, and commissioning, and ensure turnover documentation.
