Job summary

KALCON is seeking an on-site MEP Construction Manager to act as the Owner’s Representative for data center projects from planning through commissioning. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating design-build teams, the General Contractor, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, safe facilities that meet client requirements and mission-critical goals.

You will work closely with Operations and design teams, guiding commissioning activities, punchlist processes, and handoff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive MEP construction management experience on data center or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget end-to-end.
• Knowledge of MEP systems installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience overseeing General Contractors and design-build teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s Representative for data center MEP construction on site.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget from inception to completion.
• Oversee design phases, documents, codes, and specs.
• Coordinate GC and design-build contractors, with QA/QC and safety oversight.
• Oversee commissioning, punchlist, and project closeout.
• Handoff project docs to operations.
• Track project financials and support closeout accounting.
