Job summary

Gulfstar Ind is hiring a Data Center MEP Tech to assist in assembling prefabricated MPE modules and equipment on active construction sites in Round Rock, TX. You will load, stage, and transport materials and support electricians, plumbers, and other installers.

You must read drawings, use hand/power tools, and follow OSHA safety rules. The role demands reliability, teamwork, and strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial labor preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math; read assembly drawings and material lists.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly of prefabricated MPE modules and equipment.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials using tools and equipment.
• Read basic assembly drawings, work instructions, and material lists.
• Assemble brackets, supports, pipe racks, cable trays, and frames.
• Assist electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical installers.
• Install hardware, anchors, insulation, and other components.
• Perform measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fastening operations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site requirements.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Perform other duties as assigned
