Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions is seeking an experienced Traveling MEP Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in the Austin, Texas market and other locations as needed.

You will coordinate multiple MEP trades, drive field execution, manage schedules, resolve installation conflicts, and ensure high-quality delivery of critical systems while maintaining safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction field leadership experience with significant exposure to MEP systems.
• Experience coordinating multiple MEP trades on large, complex projects.
• Data center, mission-critical, healthcare, or other technically complex project experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Manage day-to-day MEP field activities on large-scale data center and mission-critical projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, coordination drawings, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate sequencing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and other critical systems.
• Participate in MEP coordination meetings with project management, engineering, commissioning, and field leadership.
• Identify constructability issues, installation conflicts, scheduling risks, and potential project delays.
• Monitor field productivity and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specs, quality requirements, and project schedules.
• Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Maintain strong safety expectations and promote a culture of accountability throughout the project.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list activities, system completion, and turnover documentation.
• Travel to project locations as required to support current and future project needs.
