Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead electrical, mechanical, and plumbing construction on active data center sites. You will coordinate trades, manage schedules, and ensure field installations match design specs for IST readiness.

The role is on-site full-time at active project sites, requiring hands-on leadership and rigorous safety practices to keep critical systems on track. You will collaborate with project leadership and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in MEP construction, with leadership role
• Experience running MEP scopes on large-scale industrial or mission-critical facilities
• Strong knowledge of MV/HV electrical systems and related equipment
• Ability to read and interpret SLDs, P&IDs, and MEP specs
• OSHA 30 certification
• Proven subcontractor management and cross-trade coordination
• Excellent communication across teams and leadership

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MEP construction activities across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing scopes
• Direct and coordinate MEP subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality
• Ensure compliance with single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and MEP specs in the field
• Enforce electrical and mechanical safety standards, including LOTO
• Coordinate with commissioning to prepare systems for FATs and IST
• Maintain logs, track progress, and flag delays or risks early
• Support QA inspections and punch list closeout for MEP scopes
