Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to design, implement, and operate mission-critical data center facilities.

You will review designs, support commissioning, and coordinate with procurement and vendors while traveling to sites across the United States. This role requires deep knowledge of HVAC, CFD, and electrical/ mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in data center design, maintenance, and operations with emphasis on design.
• Strong knowledge of data center mechanical systems including air, chilled water, humidity control, containment, and raised floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Colo Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Operations, Sustainability, and Sales teams.
• Review equipment submittals and RFIs for construction and procurement.
• Assist with development of MOPs and SOOs for facility systems.
• Perform site or data hall capacity analysis and assist with customer audits and RFPs.
• Support startup, commissioning, and testing; review commissioning scripts for completeness.
