Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead mechanical design and operations of mission‑critical data center facilities in and around Dallas.

The role focuses on design, commissioning, capacity analysis, and optimization of cooling, air distribution, and power systems with rigorous adherence to DataBank standards. The ideal candidate has an ABET‑accreditedMechanical Engineering degree and at least five years of data center experience, including CFD, HVAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in data center design, maintenance and operations with emphasis on design.
• Strong design, operational, and commissioning knowledge of data center mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of building codes (International Mechanical Code, ASHRAE).
• CFD analysis experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu, and MS Office.
• Ability to travel to key sites across the United States.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for internal Colo Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Operations, Sustainability, and Sales teams.
• Review equipment submittals & RFIs for construction and procurement.
• Assist with development of MOPs and SOOs for facility systems.
• Perform site or data hall capacity analysis and help complete customer audit and sales RFP documentation.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integrated systems testing; review commissioning scripts for completeness and minimize impacts to critical infrastructure.
• Review energy conservation and efficiency initiatives for new and existing facilities.
• Create conceptual designs and provide design specifications per Basis of Design standards and direct 3rd party consultants to comply with DataBank standards.
• Review CFD studies and guide 3rd party firms to optimize mechanical system performance.
• Review and approve MOPs per Change Control to minimize risk to operations.
• Work with Procurement to specify equipment meeting DataBank specs.
• Represent DataBank in project meetings as needed.
