Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a major data center in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on delivering the mechanical package on a large ground-up project, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors and the GC leadership on schedule, safety and quality.

Candidate must bring recent data center experience with strong MEP coordination, subcontractor management and a proven ability to manage budgets and schedules on complex projects onsite in Mobile, Alabama.

Qualifications

• Recent data center or mission critical construction experience is essential.
• Strong background in managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors on large projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and change orders on site.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the mechanical scope across the project from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Oversee HVAC, piping and related mechanical systems and ensure safe execution.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors, RFIs, submittals and coordination.
• Review drawings, specifications and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural and controls teams to align schedules.
• Track progress, budgets and procurement for the mechanical package.
