Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil/sitework on a major data center project in Mobile, Alabama. You will partner with Superintendents, engineers and trade contractors to drive execution from preconstruction through completion.

The role requires recent data center experience, a strong GC/CM background and proven ability to manage civil packages on large-scale ground-up programs on site in Mobile.

Qualifications

• Recent data center construction experience is essential.
• Strong General Contractor or Construction Manager background.
• Experience managing civil packages on large-scale ground-up construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, excavation, grading and site development.
• Experience with underground utilities, stormwater and drainage.
• Experience managing civil subcontractors, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work full-time on site in the Mobile, Alabama area.

Responsibilities

• Managing civil and sitework packages from preconstruction through completion.
• Overseeing earthwork, excavation, grading and site preparation.
• Managing underground utilities, stormwater and drainage systems.
• Coordinating roads, paving, concrete and external works.
• Managing civil subcontractors and trade partners.
• Reviewing drawings, RFIs and submittals.
• Managing change orders, procurement and project documentation.
• Tracking schedules, budgets and package-level progress.
• Coordinating civil works with structural, MEP and building teams.
• Identifying sequencing and constructability issues and driving solutions.
• Supporting quality control, safety and project closeout.
• Working closely with Project Executives, Superintendents and engineering teams.
