Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Project Manager - Mechanical Construction to oversee the execution of mechanical construction activities for a major data centre development in the United States. You will manage budgets, forecast costs, coordinate HVAC, piping and related systems, and drive safety and quality across the project.

You will partner with field leadership, subcontractors, engineers, and general contractors to maintain schedules, lead meetings, and communicate performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in mechanical construction, HVAC contracting, plumbing, piping, or related environments.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and change orders.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to support project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and change orders.
• Coordinate HVAC, piping, plumbing, and specialty systems.
• Partner with field leadership, subcontractors, engineers, and general contractors to maintain schedules.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates on financial and operational performance.
• Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies for successful delivery.
• Drive safety, QA, and compliance across activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
