Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Manager – Mechanical in Childress, TX to lead complex mechanical construction scopes, including liquid cooling systems for high-performance data centers. This role partners with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, safe facilities on time and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mechanical construction management, with 3+ years in data center projects.
• Experience with liquid cooling systems in HPC environments.
• Familiarity with data center design standards (Uptime Institute, ASHRAE TC 9.9).
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, MS Office).
• Strong leadership and communication skills; safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical construction activities for data center projects, including liquid cooling, HVAC, piping, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, general contractors, and vendors to integrate mechanical systems with other components.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; manage budgets and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical systems including liquid cooling loops.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of installations and compliance.
