Job summary

IREN is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for its Childress, TX facility. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance in a mission-critical environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC, with a strong preference for data center experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC experience in commercial or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with liquid cooling (L2C, immersion) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and thermal system issues.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS/work order systems.

Skills

HVAC experience

Knowledge of hydronic cooling systems

Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication abilities

Education

EPA 608 Universal Certification

HVAC Journeyman License
