Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
• 3 years with HVAC, cooling systems, and water system engineering.
• 3 years in data center operations with mechanical contractors and cross-functional teams.
• 3 years in electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical system design requirements for multiple data center projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage site-level mechanical designs from basis of design to construction documents.
• Collaborate with Engineer of Record to respond to RFIs and align with Google's requirements.
• Work with core engineering to provide site-specific requirements during Basis of Design development.
• Own and manage site-level mechanical cooling issues and maintain documentation.
