Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support its data center project portfolio from design through operations. This role combines design and field engineering across data center cooling disciplines with up to 25% travel.

The successful candidate has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 3+ years in MEP design for data centers, and experience with HVAC/Plumbing best practices, Procore, and CFD tools. The position is based in Denver with a hybrid office setup.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Other related fields may be considered.
• EIT and/or sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• 3+ years in data center MEP design with preference for critical cooling experience.
• Hands-on field construction experience with HVAC and Plumbing best practices.

Responsabilités

• Support design managers and MEP engineers in design, permitting, and coordination of construction drawings for data center cooling.
• Coordinate and incorporate customer design requirements on a project-by-project basis.
• Assist with data center cooling strategies (air-cooled and liquid-cooled) within white space.
• Provide on-site field support during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address site challenges and optimize designs for constructability.
• Prepare construction documents (CDs), drawings, specs, and performance modeling with third-party engineers.
• Review contractor submittals and RFIs to ensure compliance with Rowan standards.
