Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Manager to lead the design, installation and testing of critical data center systems. You will oversee humidifiers, chillers, pumps, AHUs and CDU deployments, and ensure projects meet operation requirements with excellence.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, reviewing design packages, developing commissioning plans, conducting pre-construction meetings, witnessing tests and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of mechanical commissioning experience, preferably in data center or critical facilities projects.
• General understanding of data center systems and electrical building systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ASHRAE codes and standards.
• Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage data center project tasks, budget, schedule, and scope.
• Serve as main client contact during commissioning activities and project completion.
• Review design packages and prepare commissioning plans and specifications.
• Witness functional testing and observation of installations onsite.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and progress reviews.
